"ArtWorks is seeking mural design concepts for our first ever Cincinnati Paints by Numbers project. Designs should feature or be inspired by our 2018 theme and partner, Fiona and the Cincinnati Zoo.
Artists are invited to submit up to three (3) fully rendered, full color designs for jury and public consideration. Designs must be able to be translated by a public audience (non-professional painters), and successful designs may include flat areas of color or be graphic in nature. Designs should be created with the specific project site and dimensions in mind. All conceptual sketches are to be preliminary and should be able to evolve and transform based on jury input. ArtWorks reserves the right to exclude any submissions from the jury and public review process as deemed necessary."

I took great pride in my designs, dedicating significant effort to pre-plan the area and thoughtfully incorporate a paint-by-numbers approach. This allowed me to craft vibrant, colorful murals designed to engage the public in a collaborative painting experience. The competition featured hundreds of stunning submissions and my designs were not selected as the final choice, but I am proud of the creativity and intentionality I brought to the project.
